The NIC recruits for it's Young Professionals Program

The National Investment Corporation is a state own financial corporation positioning itself as a reference in the creation of wealth in view of Cameroon economic development. Its current activities focus on three areas: venture capital, development capital and buyouts. Its statutory mission is to promote productive investment operations with high returns in all sectors of economic activity on national and international scene. Its five core values are:

The National Investment Corporation main concerns in the coming years are related to the perspective of large investment projects to be carried out in all sectors of Cameroon economy, including Mines and Information Technologies sectors. The National Investment Corporation wishes to take the best advantage of all these opportunities and therefore contribute in strenghtening Cameroon’s industrial network and creating value and employment.
Young professionals interested in NIC’s “Young Professional Program” will have the opportunity to work on specific project assignments likely to raise passion and creativity in them.

Brief presentation of NIC’s "young professionals program" (YPP) This program remains faithful to the recruitment policy which has always prevailed in the National Investment Corporation with a priority given to youth and academic and professional excellence. It aim at young graduates fresh from national and foreign colleges and universities wishing to work with National Investment Corporation and take up the challenges inherent to the economic, industrial and financial development of Cameroon.
General objectives of the program:
• Building the human resource of NIC,
• Ensure its performance and its sustainability.
Specific objectives:
• Identify young professionals, highly qualified and up to the standards of NIC.
• Give to young and motivated people the opportunity to practice their skills in one of the areas relevant to NIC operations.
• Recruit those young professionals who will demonstrate their skills, their expertise and capability, and their ability to work in the local and international environment.
Contract Period: 2 years maximum
Maximum age when entering the program: 30 years
Nationality of candidates: Cameroonian
Educational requirement: Master’s degree (5 years University) minimum when submitting the application

Specialized training in business management:
• Marketing and Trade
• Business Analyst (Research and evaluation of industrial projects)
• Company valuation
• Management of Organizations,
• Stock Exchange Operations,

• Organizational diagnosis,
• Communication and Public Relations
• Projects management
• Business Law
• Management of mining projects
• Management of agricultural projects,
• Human Resource Management,
• New Technologies of Information and Communication,
• Auditing,
• Control.
Language: French and / or English. Fluency in the other language is an asset.
Conditions of employment and benefits:
• Salary: Lump sum equivalent to the salary of an executive trainee of NIC,
• Health insurance and civil responsibility insurance
• Training / Coaching.
Method of Selection:
