A golf tournament to kick-start the implementation of the partnership agreement signed between SNI and the Yaounde Golf Club Association
From 28 to 29 March 2009, the National Investment Corporation of Cameroon in partnership with the Yaounde Golf Club Association organized a heavily attended golf tournament in Yaounde.
Nearly 150 players coming from all the four corners of Cameroon took part in the competition. They were divided into eight series as follows: Men, Women, Junior, Mixed, Beginners.
After the 18th hole, 29 players received prizes for the quality of their game that was far better than that of the other competitors and trophies were handed over to them by the guests invited to the tournament by the Director General of SNI.
Speaking at the end of the competition, the Deputy Director General of SNI, Mr. Ambroise ONDOA ONANA, representing the Director General, Mrs. YAOU AISSATOU, unavoidably absent, commended the nascent partnership between SNI and Yaounde Golf Club. He ended his address by congratulating the winners of the weekend and reassured all the people present of the availability of SNI to do even more in the coming years to promote Golf in Cameroon.
